Moodbidri: Yenepoya Institute of Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with YOUNG INDIANS(YI)-CII on 24th April 2023.

The MOU was signed by Dr. R. G. D’Souza, Principal, YIT and Mr. Shohan J Shetty, YUVA Chair-YI Mangalore Chapter in the presence of Ms. Sameeksha Shetty Chair, and Mr. Madhukar Kuduva, Yuva co-chair of YI Mangalore Chapter, Mr. Raj Kiran Shetty, TPO and Mr. Roshan D’Souza, SWO,YIT .
Young Indians (Yi) is a movement under the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) that aims to empower and involve Indian youth in shaping the nation’s future. As part of the MOU, Yi will motivate YIT students to participate in their initiatives, engage in activities, and submit regular reports to the Yi Executive Member. YIT students will also be able to participate in Yi National and Chapter events, such as the summit.

YUVA, a prominent focus area within Yi, is designed to encourage students from all over the country to engage in initiatives that they plan, organize, and execute. The primary goal is to provide a platform for students to work collaboratively across various disciplines, improve their leadership skills, and contribute to the betterment of the country.
