Yenepoya Institute of Technology – YEN QUEST – 2023…

Moodbidri:Yenepoya Institute of Technology (YIT) in association with First Year Engineering Students Association (FYESA) organized “YEN QUEST – 2023” for 2nd year PU science students of various government and private PU colleges, covering Udupi, Mangalore and Kasaragod, on 31st October, 2023.

Mr. Viquaruddin Surki, Delivery Head, Pan India, IBM India Pvt Ltd. ,the Chief Guest of the function in his inaugural speech stressed upon dedication towards study and effective use of social media in a students life
Mr. Abdul Latheef, Principal, Melkar Women’s PU College and Ms. Pameeda Begum, Principal, Vijaya PU College Mulki were the Guests of Honour of the function.
Principal, Dr.R.G. D’Souza, Campus Administrator Mohammad Shahid, Head of various departments were present during the inauguration. Prof. Shabreena Banu M introduced the guest. Prof. Kavya K hosted the program.
After inaugural function, students actively participated in various science competitions such as science quiz, debate, science rangoli, photography, spot painting, sudoku, rubiks cube, collage, model presentation, treasure hunt etc. Around 500 students from more than 27 colleges participated in YENQUEST and won the prizes. YIT distributed ‘YIT Privilege Card’ to each participant to offer concession in fee for those students who want to pursue engineering education in YIT. Faculty who accompanied along with students were also felicitated.
Session on “Life Saving Skills” by Mr. Abhishek Salomen, Assistant professor, Department of Trauma care mgt., Yenepoya School of Allied Health Centre, Ms. Alita Paul, Tutor, Mr. Ainulabid, CRRI was also organized for all the students during YEN-QUEST 2023 which was coordinated by Prof Santhosha Acharya , HOD , Dept. of Physics, Prof. Sashma CH, Dept. of Mathematics and Prof. Kavya K, Dept. of Humanities.
