News Karnataka & Moms of Mangalore organised ‘The Indian Women’  Ethnic Fashion Show…

Mangaluru: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, News Karnataka in association with Moms of Mangalore organised ‘The Indian Women’  Ethnic Fashion Show and ‘Inspired Elegance’ felicitation to women achievers at Fiza by Nexus Mall, Pandeshwar on March 5.

News Karnataka team and Moms of Mangalore team inaugurated the show by lighting the lamp. In the Ethnic Fashion Show, the contestants dazzled in true Indian attire.

Mangaluru Traffic Division ACP Geetha Kulkarni was the Chief Guest of the event and felicitated the women achievers Balini, Vrinda Konnar, Radhika, Vijayalakshmi & Swarnalatha Pai (Durga). She advised the public to follow the traffic rules and protect themselves from accidents.

Women’s ramp walk and question rounds at the Show heightened the enthusiasm of the crowd. Sachita Nandagopal, Sushma Kishan, and Dr. Josmita D’Silva judged the event. Among the contestants, the first prize was bagged by Judith Fernandes while the second prize was bagged by Divya Pritam and third prize was won by Veena.

Arun Masala and Chetana’s Beauty Lounge and Education Foundation were the co-sponsors of the event.

Swastha Cookware and Royal by Metal Mart sponsored the prizes.  Chetana’s Beauty Lounge owner Chetana S and Metal Mart owner K. Surendra Shenoy were present.

News Karnataka, Quick Digital Advisor and Mentor Valerian Dalmaida, Executive Director Canute Jeevan Pinto, Head of Marketing Aldrin Vaz, Prathima and Lolakshi, Moms of Mangaluru Admin Prithvi Ganesh Kamath, Nayana, Melba and others were present. Sowmya Kotian and Nikhil hosted the show.

Prior to the event, Moms of Mangalore had organised a ‘Moms Meet’ program which was hosted by celebrity host and fashion model VJ Dixon.
