Yenepoya Institute of Technology – FDP on Universal Human Values…
Moodbidri: A three-day introductory Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values was conducted by AICTE at Yenepoya Institute of Technology from May 4th to May 6th, 2023.
The primary objective of this program was to emphasize the importance of cultivating a comprehensive understanding of life and to raise awareness among faculty members about the different aspects of life – individual, family (interpersonal relationships), society, and nature/existence. It aimed to enhance self-reflection abilities, boost confidence, and foster a stronger commitment to understanding, learning, and taking appropriate action.
The sessions of the Faculty Development Program were facilitated by the AICTE UHV Team, led by Mrs. Nidhi Chirag Sachade. Dr. Prathibha Patel served as the co-facilitator, while Mr. Shashikanth Kurodi acted as the observer. Mrs. Lalitha D was the regional coordinator, and Dr. Adelide Saldana volunteered throughout the three-day program. A total of 54 participants attended the FDP, including faculty members from Yenepoya Institute of Technology, SDMIT Ujire, Alvas College of Engineering and Technology, The Yenepoya College, and St. Agnes College Mangalore.
The program comprised a total of 12 sessions and 2 tutorial sessions, offering comprehensive insights into Universal Human Values.
