Sahyadri College Hosts 14th Graduation Ceremony for MBA Students…
Mangalore: Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management held its 14th Graduation Day, celebrating the academic achievements of 174 MBA graduates, along with three M.Tech scholars and five Ph.D. recipients.
The ceremony was graced by Dr. T.N. Nagabhushan, Vice-Chancellor of Kishkinda University, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the need for graduates to adapt to evolving technological landscapes. Ms. Uma A., Head of Payroll, Consolidated & Overseas Financial Reporting at ICICI Bank Ltd., Mumbai, attended as the Guest of Honour, urging students to embrace lifelong learning as a pathway to success.
The event was presided over by Principal Dr. S.S. Injaganeri, Vice Principal Dr. Sudheer Shetty, MBA Director Dr. Vishal Samartha, and Research Director Dr. Manjappa Sarathi, along with faculty members, trustees, and dignitaries. Mustafa Basthikodi, Head of the Computer Science Department, was also in attendance.
During the ceremony, Ph.D. degrees were conferred upon Dr. Sushma V., Dr. Rohan Dan Salins, Dr. Rithesh Pakkala P., Dr. Prakhyat Rai, and Dr. Melwin D’Souza. Among the MBA graduates, Sanjana emerged as the Gold Medalist and First Rank holder, followed by academic achievers Deepa Baliga, Leona Melisha Cardoza, Sakshitha V, Roopika S, Shivani, Hitesh Bharat Shivlani, Prerana Bhat, Prathiksha Prabhu, and Akash.
The event concluded with the formal distribution of degrees, celebrating the dedication and perseverance of the graduating students. The ceremony reaffirmed Sahyadri College’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and leadership in higher education.
