Swachhatha Abhiyan by NSS Unit of VCET Promotes Cleanliness and Community Awareness…

Puttur: The NSS Unit of Vivekananda College of Engineering and Technology (VCET), Puttur, organized a Swachhatha Abhiyan at Shree Sahasralingeshwara Temple, Uppinangadi, on October 27, 2025, as part of the nationwide Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiative.

The drive aimed to spread awareness about cleanliness and environmental responsibility among students and the local community. A total of 58 NSS volunteers enthusiastically participated in cleaning the temple premises and removing plastic waste.

The temple committee and local residents extended their full support, ensuring the success of the campaign. The activity fostered a spirit of teamwork and social responsibility among the volunteers while contributing to maintaining a clean and sacred environment.
