Sahyadri College Wins Prestigious Award at ICT Academy BRIDGE ’24…

Bangalore: Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management was recognized with the esteemed “Infosys Finishing School for Employability” award at the 62nd edition of ICT Academy BRIDGE ’24. The event took place on November 27, 2024, at The Lalit Ashok Hotel, Bangalore.

The award was presented by notable dignitaries, including Mr. Bala MS, Chairman of the Southern Regional Committee of AICTE Innovation Centre, and Deputy Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and AICTE Investor Network; Mr. Srikanth V, CEO of ICT Academy; and Mr. D Vishnu Prasad, Deputy General Manager of ICT Academy.

In a parallel development, the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) at Sahyadri launched a specialized Data Analytics training program on November 20, 2024. This initiative, in collaboration with Infosys Foundation and ICT Academy, is aimed at equipping 130 final-year students with cutting-edge IT skills aligned with global industry standards.

Themed “Future of Growth: Technology, Skills & Inclusive Development,” the conference brought together policymakers, industry leaders, and academicians to discuss strategies for aligning education with the evolving needs of the workforce.
