Yenepoya Institute of Technology – Inauguration of ME Students Association METALLONS…

Moodbidri: METALLONS – Student association of Department of Mechanical Engineering, Yenepoya Institute of Technology, Moodbidri was inaugurated on 7th December 2022.
Dr. R. Lokesha, Registrar , Keladi Shivappa Nayaka University of Agriculture and Horticulture Sciences Navile, Shivamogga, and Mr. M Dinesh Kumar Professor of Agronomy, in Keladi Shivappa Nayaka University of Agriculture and Horticulture Sciences Navile, Shivamogga were the chief guest of the function.
Chief guest, Dr. R. Lokesha in his talk mentioned the use of AI & machine learning in the agriculture sector and told that agriculture is the mother of all culture. Mr. M. Dinesh Kumar gave an informative talk on how engineering is a part of agriculture where we have to think in a versatile way to stand in practical approaches.

Prof. Ravindra Naik, HOD, Department of Mechanical Engineering presided over the inaugural function. Prof.Harikanth S, METALLONS Association Co-ordinator and Mr. Mohammed Sawad, President of METALLONS Association 2022-2023 were present on occasion.
On this occasion, A Motivational talk on “Career opportunities in defense” by Mr. Mahammad Yusuf M Bulbule, Alumni – Class of 2018 Mechanical Engineering, Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF) was organized.
All the association members, students and staff of the department were present during this occasion.
