24 Hour National Level Hackathon organized by AI&ML department...
Moodbidri: The students association YEN-ARTIFICIA in association with the Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning(AI&ML) department of Yenepoya Institute of Technology has organized a Unscramble 2.0 a National Level Hackathon on 24th January 2024.
The event was coordinated by Shadil Ebrahim, Ahamed Ashiq and Shanawaz, The event started with a spectacular inauguration graced by the presence of Ms. Lakshmi Shetty, Campus Relationship Manager at Robosoft Technologies Pvt Ltd, Udupi, was the Chief Guest for the event.
The lighting of the lamp ceremony marked the symbolic initiation of the event, accompanied by motivational insights from the Chief Guest and a visionary address by Dr. R.G D’Souza.
About the event, there were a total of 85+ teams registered, out of which the best 20 teams were selected. The students from the different states were participated in the event.
Campus Administrative Officer Mr. Mohammad Shahid, Prof. Prasanna Kumar, the Head of (AI&ML) Department has graced the occasion with their presence. Prof. Mohammed Siraj, Assistant Professor delivered the welcome speech. The program’s MC was Afeef Ismail. Ameeza introduced the Chief Guest. Simrah accompanied by Aysha delivered the annual report of Yenartificia. Prof. Ramya A coordinated the proceedings, ensuring a seamless flow of events.
HODs of various departments, faculty members, non-teaching staff and students of AIML were present.
As participants delved into the hackathon, the atmosphere was charged with creativity and enthusiasm, reflecting the institute’s commitment to fostering a culture of technological excellence. The dynamic and insightful inauguration set the stage for an exhilarating National Level Hackathon at Yenepoya Institute of Technology.
