Mangaluru:The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management extends heartfelt congratulations to the outstanding achievers in the GATE 2024 examination and NPTEL online certification courses. These students were honored for their exceptional accomplishments.
GATE 2024 Qualifiers: Sanketh C Naik, Sujan, Vijeth Rai, Rakshith Poojary, Chaluvaraju D, Rajath Kotian, and Vijay Kumar, belonging to the 2020-24 batch of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, have demonstrated their proficiency by successfully clearing the GATE 2024 examination. Their unwavering dedication and hard work have brought laurels to the college.
NPTEL Achievements: Shodhan, Sanketh C Naik, Ajay Deepak Lobo, and Vijeth Rai have been acknowledged as NPTEL Believers for their outstanding performance in the NPTEL online certification courses conducted from July to December 2023. Additionally, Sanketh C Naik and Vijeth Rai have been honored as NPTEL Discipline Stars for their exemplary commitment and excellence in their respective courses.
Athletic Excellence: In addition to academic achievements, Sampath Hegde, a 4th-year student, has brought glory to the college through his remarkable athletic prowess. He has represented Dakshina Kannada in various championships, including the Senior State Athletic Championship in Bangalore and the State Athletic Championship in Mysore, clinching Silver Medals in both. Furthermore, he secured a Gold Medal in the U-23 State Athletic Championship in Mangalore. Sampath also represented Karnataka in the U-23 National Athletic Championship in Punjab, where he earned a Bronze Medal, and represented VTU in the All India Inter University Athletics Championship held at Chennai, securing the 4th position.
Mr Kunal Ghosh, Director and Co-founder of VLSI System Design (VSD), Ms Anagha Ghosh, Founder and Director of VLSI System Design (VSD), Mr Montu Makadia, Technical Business Consultant at Semiconductor Fabless Accelerator Lab (SFAL). and Dr Anush Bekal, Head of the Department- Electronics & Communication Engineering, SCEM graced the occasion.
