Mangaluru: The boys’ and girls’ cross-country teams of Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, Mangaluru, clinched the championship titles at the VTU State-Level Inter-Collegiate Cross Country Championship held at SJMIT, Chitradurga, on October 16 and 17, 2025.
The event, organized by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 235 athletes representing various colleges across the state.
The boys’ team comprised Karthik P, Manvith U, Manvith K S, Adithya K S, Pravith, Hithesh B S, and Guruprasad, while the girls’ team included Sahithya K P, Saniya Shetty, Veeksha V, Thrisha Shetty, and Chashmitha D C.
The management of Sahyadri College lauded the teams for their outstanding performance, emphasizing that this remarkable achievement sets a new benchmark for sporting excellence at the institution.
