Dr. Vishal Samartha welcomed the dignitaries, graduates and members of the leadership team. The ceremony was formally declared open by Dr. Aditya Gupta.

During the programme, the top 10 rank holders were presented by Dr. Sudheer Shetty and felicitated by the dignitaries. The first rank holder received the Sahyadri Gold Medal, while the top three rank holders were presented awards sponsored by the Sahyadri Group of Institutions Employees and Students Multi-purpose Cooperative Society Ltd, in recognition of their outstanding academic performance.

Three scholars who completed their PhD in 2025 at the Sahyadri Research Centre were also honoured on the occasion.

Addressing the graduates, Dr. Aditya Gupta shared ten life lessons drawn from his personal and professional journey. He reminded students that success and setbacks are temporary, and that competence and character together determine long-term growth. Emphasising the importance of soft skills, he noted that while technical expertise builds a career, communication and persuasion help individuals rise higher. He encouraged students to prioritise learning and growth over merely seeking higher salary packages, and highlighted integrity, loyalty, health and good company as key pillars of success. Urging students to remain disciplined and purposeful, he concluded by inspiring them to live meaningful lives rather than merely existing.

In her address, Ms. Preeta Saxena said she was honoured to witness the future workforce gathered at the ceremony. She observed that the present era demands strong problem-solving abilities and technological adaptability. Appreciating the institution’s leadership and faculty for nurturing competent professionals, she advised graduates to cultivate courage to take risks, curiosity to keep learning and wisdom to remain grounded. These qualities, she said, would enable them to navigate challenges and seize opportunities effectively.

In his presidential remarks, Principal Dr. S. S. Injaganeri urged students not to forget the unwavering support of their parents. He informed the graduates that the doors of Sahyadri remain open to them and encouraged them to stay connected through alumni meets, contribute internship and placement opportunities, and share their professional experiences.

The ceremony concluded with the conferring of degrees and an oath-taking ceremony led by Dr. Sudheer Shetty.
