YITians shine at VTU Weight lifting championship for Women…

Moodbidri : Students of Yenepoya Institute of Technology participated in the V.T.U Inter Collegiate Weight Lifting Competition (Women) on 20th & 21st December 2021.The YIT Team won the overall championship with a great performance by individual participants.

Ms. Kathayini Anil Nath Singh, VII Sem ME bagged second place in 55 kg Category. Ms. Sushrutha KT, III Sem ECE bagged second place in 64 kg Category, Ms.Veditha Shetty -VII sem ISE bagged first place in 49 kg Category, & Ms. Swapna N -VII sem EEE bagged first place in 59 kg Category.

As an additional achievement Ms.Veditha Shetty and Ms. Swapna N will represent VTU at the All India Inter University Women weight Lifting Championship 2021 to be held at Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur,Andhra Pradesh from 27th to 30th Dec 2021.
