COSMIC-2024: Sahyadri College to Host Prestigious IEEE International Conference
Manaluru: Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management is set to host the IEEE International Conference on Computing, Semiconductor, Mechatronics, Intelligent Systems, and Communications (COSMIC-2024) on November 22-23, 2024. This international conference, supported by the IEEE Bangalore Section, will take place on the picturesque campus of Sahyadri College, located in Mangaluru, Karnataka.
The event will bring together researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and students from across the globe to exchange innovative ideas and cutting-edge research. Key highlights of the conference include keynote addresses, technical paper presentations, and poster sessions, fostering the dissemination of advancements in technology and promoting collaboration among participants.
COSMIC-2024 underscores Sahyadri College’s commitment to research and innovation. The institution has consistently prioritized fostering knowledge-sharing initiatives, including Synergia, Social Innovation Projects, and the Sahyadri Science Talent Hunt. This marks the second IEEE international conference hosted by the college, following the success of the 2023 IEEE DISCOVER conference, held in collaboration with the IEEE Mangalore Subsection.
The conference has attracted significant interest, with 240 papers submitted from various regions in India and abroad. Following rigorous double-blind reviews, only 20% of the submissions were selected for presentation. Accepted papers will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library (Conference Record #63293) for publication under the IEEE Conference Publications Program (CPP).
