Yenepoya Institute of Technology – Workshop organised by Mechanical Engineering Department…

Moodbidri: Department of Mechanical Engineering of Yenepoya Institute of Technology (YIT) in association with ISTE organized a Two day Workshop on “Metal Casting, Composite Materials and Waste Energy Conversion”.

The inaugural session was held on 17/2/22. Prof Vani R and Prof G Sujaykumar , Department of Mechanical Engineering YIT were the resource persons. Workshop was inaugurated by HOD Dr. Sathisha N. All the faculty members of the department and 3rd semester students were present. Kumar Thejas of 3rd semester was the master of ceremony for the event.
Workshop sessions include theory on Composite materials and its applications, Waste energy conversion. Hands on sessions on Composite material preparation by Hand lay up process, Aluminium casting and Material characterization of composite materials. Second year students of mechanical Engineering participated in the workshop.
