Sahyadri College to Host 5-Day Faculty Development Program on Innovation & Entrepreneurship…
Mangaluru: Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, Mangaluru, is set to organize a five-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Innovation and Entrepreneurship from March 24 to 28, 2025. This offline, non-residential program is sponsored by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India.
The FDP aims to equip faculty members and incubation managers with essential skills and knowledge to mentor student and faculty-led innovation projects and entrepreneurial ventures. Participants will gain valuable insights into startup ecosystem development, innovation management, intellectual property rights, technology transfer, and product development.
Who Can Participate?
- Faculty members leading Institution Innovation Councils (IICs), IEDCs, E-Cells, or Entrepreneurship Clubs
- Educators mentoring students for hackathons, Smart India Hackathon (SIH), and startup competitions
- Incubation managers and faculty involved in innovation-driven initiatives
- Faculty with expertise in product design, business strategy, technology development, and intellectual property
- Academicians engaged in funded projects or product development
