Mangaluru: Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, Mangaluru, proudly announces Synergia’25, a grand national-level innovation festival powered by the SHINE Foundation. The event, to be held from November 6 to 8, 2025, aims to bring together young minds from Grade 8 to Engineering students on a single platform to address real-world societal challenges through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

The inaugural ceremony on November 6 will feature distinguished guests from academia and industry, including Mr. Allan Bech, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), EGDK, and Ms. Tina Bodin, Head of Human Resources, EGDK, as Chief Guests. The grand finale and award ceremony will take place on November 8, graced by prominent industry leaders and experts.

Attracting over 20,000 students from more than 425 institutions, Synergia’25 promises to be one of the largest innovation festivals in the region, featuring four major events:

  1. Sahyadri Science Talent Hunt (SSTH) – 12th Edition:
A platform for school and pre-university students to propose innovative solutions to community challenges. Selected participants will receive a seed grant of ₹2,00,000, mentorship, and access to Sahyadri’s innovation infrastructure to develop Proof of Concepts (POCs).

  2. Devhost – 8th Edition:
Sponsored by EG, this 36-hour national-level hackathon organized by the Sahyadri Open Source Community (SOSC) includes developer talks, masterclasses, workshops, and various technical competitions.

  3. Aerophilia – National-Level Aero-Tech Fest:
Organized by Team Challengers, this two-day event will feature aeromodelling showcases, drone racing, RC flying, air shows, gaming contests, and hands-on workshops celebrating advancements in aero-technology.

  4. Robotics Fest by Sahyadri Robotics Club (SRC):
Engaging robotics events such as robo soccer, sumo battles, and autonomous navigation challenges will provide participants with opportunities to demonstrate their skills in mechanics, control systems, and automation.

Over the years, Synergia has served as a launchpad for young innovators, contributing to the rise of several successful start-ups from Sahyadri’s incubation ecosystem, including Dreamkit.cc (STEM toys), Prafal (assistive technology), and Sonic Lamb (deep-tech audio solutions).

Synergia’25 is open to the public. Students, educators, and innovation enthusiasts are invited to witness and participate in this three-day celebration of creativity and technology. Spot registrations are also available for interested participants.
