Moodbidri: Two day workshop on RC Aero- Modeling was organized in Yenepoya Institute of Technology , Moodbidri on Nov 20th and Nov 21st.
The workshop was organized by the Center of Excellence in Robotics and Automation, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in Association with ISTE Students Chapter (KA-109), YIT and conducted by SKYCLAN RC, Mangaluru.
The objective of the workshop is to teach and provide a hands on training for the students to design, fabricate and test a model radio controlled fixed wing aircraft.
Workshop started off with a very brief inaugural function. Prof. Gangadhara, Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering graced the occasion and motivated the participants.
Mr. Mithul Das, Mr. Ashwatharama Prabhu K, Mr. Nihal Rajesh, Mr. Calvin D’ Souza were the resource persons. Workshop included with history of aviation, basic operation principles of flights and its components, the control surfaces and implementation.
Chief Coordinator Prof. Shashank M Gowda, delivered the vote of thanks in the valedictory function.
